The USMNT Roster Reveal Party

On November 9th, 2022 U.S. Soccer hosted a Roster Reveal at Brooklyn Steel in New
York City unveiling who will be representing the country at the World Cup in Qatar later this
month. The atmosphere was electric, a DJ kept the energy up alternating between pop tracks
and World Cup hits. Supporters were in USA from head to toe and ESPN broadcast was set up
to broadcast the event nationwide.
The USMNT roster was announced by positions-starting with goalkeepers, then
defenders, then midfielders and finally forwards. After all the players were announced, those at
the event came on stage to address the fans. The roar from the American Outlaws could not be
missed. Finally, ESPN brought out Gregg Berhalter, the team’s head coach, to share his
excitement about the roster.
After the event, attendees had a chance to hear questions answered by Cristian Roldan, Kellyn
Acosta, Shaq Moore, Sean Johnson, Jesus Ferreira and Walker Zimmerman. A virtual press
conference was also held with Antonee Robinson, Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams.
Overall, the event brought an exciting experience to the U.S. Soccer community as we get ready
to cheer on the United States Men’s National Team in Qatar.
